*taps the mic* Is this thing on? Erm, hello? I think I'm probably posting to the void but intense nostalgia rather forced my hand... SGA was the fandom that drove me to LJ and to posting my fic, and many years ago welovezelenka comm used to be one of my regular haunts. I assume most people have moved on, likely even left LJ, by now. However, I recently returned to my roots for the last hurrah of sga_santa and wrote a McKay/Zelenka story, my first for years and years. Doing so brought back many great memories about chatting to other Zelenka fans in the hayday of the fandom. So I thought that in the off chance that someone is still watching the comm I ought to pop over to say hello and to link to the fic in question... Seriously, if anyone is still around do say hi!

Hello, fellow Zelenka lovers!

I have a quick question for the comm: there used to be a great meta post here and now it is gone. The title of it was "Czech Psychology and Tabula Rasa Meta". Does anyone know why it's no longer here? Or if it was maybe retitled or moved and I just can't find it? It was such an epically awesome post, and the discussions in the commentary were gold.

(I hope this is okay to post here, but if not, I will delete.)

Fellow citizens of the Zelenka Nation (wherever you are):

As I present to you this, my longest, and (IMHO) finest contribution to the annals of SGA fanfic, I also bid fan fic a fond farewell, for the foreseeable future. The reasons are several, and to be found in greater detail at the conclusion of the fic, but I hope that all my works may be found to be of lasting quality, and worthy of reading for some time to come.

Not sure if people are still watching this comm, but SGA Legacy book series author jo_graham has some Zelenka backstory up on her journal from her novel "Death Game".

I like the way the SGA Legacy series has treated Zelenka; he's got a lot of history and a lot of complexity as he's been written in the books.
